I am Gel Bergonio, a dynamic and multi-creative individual living and serving my community in Barangay Vasra, Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines. My educational journey has been as diverse as it is rewarding. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts at the University of the Philippines – Diliman, where I have been enrolled since 2022. Before this, I studied Broadcasting at New Era University from 2021 to 2022. My foundational years were spent at the New Era University – Integrated School, where I completed my Senior High School education in Arts and Design, specializing in Media and Visual Arts from 2019 to 2021. I began my academic path at Quezon City Academy, completing Junior High School from 2015 to 2019.

My professional experience is marked by various leadership roles and creative endeavors. Since 2015, I have been the Founder, Director, and CEO of Infinity Creative Entertainment, an enterprise that underscores my commitment to the arts. I honed my technical expertise during my tenure as Technical Director for Project: Ligaya from 2020 to 2021. I also served as the Executive Director of Lampara Productions from 2020 to 2022. My involvement in youth advocacy is highlighted by my roles in Liberal Youth, where I have been a National Executive Committee Member since 2021 and the Director for Communications since 2022. Additionally, I interned at the Office of Senator Francis “Kiko” N. Pangilinan in 2021, gaining valuable insights into the legislative process.

My leadership extends to various youth organizations. I have been the Director for Public Relations at Kilos Tayo, NCR (Kilos Ko Youth – NCR) since 2022 and the Vice President for Publicity and Communications at Kilos Ko Youth – UP Diliman since the same year. In 2023, I was elected SK Kagawad at Sangguniang Kabataan, Barangay Vasra, underscoring my commitment to community service.

My leadership abilities were evident early on during my time at Quezon City Academy, where I held multiple roles such as Barangay Kagawad (P.R.O), Assist. Director at the Bureau of Solid Waste Management, and Class President. My exceptional leadership earned me the titles of Best Mayor (President) Nominee and Most Outstanding Leader Awardee. At New Era University – Integrated School, I continued to demonstrate my leadership as Class President, Internal Vice President of the Young Artists Club, and a theatre actor with Dulaang Asilaw.

At the University of the Philippines – Diliman, I have served as the Secretary-General of the UP Diliman College of Arts and Letters FST Council and am actively involved as a theatre actor with UP Dulaang Laboratoryo. My contributions to the student community were recognized with a Leadership Award from the National Service Training Program at New Era University.

Beyond my formal roles, I am an avid actor, director, filmmaker, and social activist. I have also excelled as a swimming athlete. My advocacy work spans critical issues such as HIV/AIDS awareness, financial literacy, family planning, and SOGIE equality. Fluent in both Filipino and English, I am well-equipped to engage with diverse communities and promote meaningful change.

I embody the spirit of a dedicated artist, a proactive leader, and a passionate advocate for social justice. My journey is a testament to my unwavering commitment to the arts, leadership, and community service.
