Platform 1: Financial Literacy (CASH-a at Kaya)

Vision:

To create a community of smart and responsible youth who actively engage in building a thriving Barangay Vasra through financial literacy and active citizenship.

Core Purpose:

Promoting Active Citizenship among the youth through financial education and empowerment.

Goal:

To enhance financial literacy among the youth of Barangay Vasra, Quezon City, enabling them to make informed decisions, achieve financial stability, and improve their quality of life while actively contributing to the community.

Strategy:

Empowerment through education, access to resources, community engagement, and targeted youth participation to promote financial literacy and active citizenship.

Plan:

1. Conduct Financial Literacy Workshops:

• Organize dedicated financial literacy workshops for youth, led by financial experts, educators, or local financial institutions.

• Incorporate interactive activities, case studies, and gamification to make the workshops engaging and appealing to the youth.

2. Establish a Youth Financial Literacy Club:

• Create a youth-led financial literacy club within Barangay Vasra, comprising interested and motivated youth members.

• Organize regular club meetings, where youth can discuss financial literacy topics, share experiences, and collaborate on financial education initiatives.

Core Purpose:

To foster active citizenship and empower individuals and families in Barangay Vasra, Quezon City, to take charge of their reproductive health and contribute to the development of a responsible and thriving community.

Goal:

To promote reproductive health, family planning, and responsible parenthood within Barangay Vasra enabling individuals and families to make informed decisions about their reproductive well-being.

Strategy:

Engage in education, provide access to services, foster community support, and encourage targeted youth participation to promote family planning and reproductive health.

Plan:

1. Conduct Reproductive Health Education Sessions for Youth:

• Organize interactive and age-appropriate reproductive health education sessions specifically designed for youth.

• Utilize multimedia platforms, such as videos, infographics, and games, to make the sessions engaging and relatable to youth.

2. Establish a Youth Reproductive Health Peer Educator Program:

• Recruit and train a group of youth peer educators who will serve as advocates for reproductive health and family planning within their peer groups.

• Empower peer educators to organize informative sessions, discussions, and awareness campaigns targeting their fellow youth.

3. Offer Youth-Friendly Family Planning Services:

Our core purpose is to promote active citizenship and empower the residents of Barangay Vasra to become responsible and engaged members of their community.

Goal:

To transform Barangay Vasra into a thriving community by fostering active citizenship and providing livelihood opportunities through a youth-focused program.

Strategy:

Engage the youth in Barangay Vasra through skills development, capacity building, and access to resources, with a focus on promoting active citizenship and supporting sustainable livelihoods.

Plan:

1. Youth Entrepreneurship and Mentorship Program:

• Develop a comprehensive youth entrepreneurship and mentorship program to nurture entrepreneurial skills and cultivate a business mindset among the youth.

• Match interested youth with successful entrepreneurs or business professionals who can offer guidance, mentorship, and practical insights into starting and managing businesses.

2. Youth-led Community Market:

• Establish a regular youth-led community market that serves as a platform for young entrepreneurs to showcase their products and services.
